ACCESSING MAILSITE CUSTOMER SERVICES
MailSite values all Requests for Enhancements (RFEs) from customers
very highly. Forum members that want to log RFEs with MailSite
are encouraged to do so via the online Case Open facility in the
MailSite Customer Portal. A Support Subscription
is not required.
Forum Members that want to report a suspected bug to MailSite
or that want assistance from MailSite Technical Support with either
debugging a malfunction, or verifying a suspected bug, or finding
an answer to a technical question that is not in the documentation,
will need to open a case via the Open Case facility in the MailSite Customer Portal. A current Support Subscription is required for
MailSite Customer Services to be able to respond to the case. Customers
without support subscriptions are free to report details of bugs
to MailSite, however MailSite does not guarantee to respond to
these reports.
INDEMNITY NOTICE
MailSite cannot guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of
any Messages that are posted on The Forum.
MailSite employees may occasionally post messages to The Forum.
These postings should not be considered as professional advice and
MailSite cannot be held liable for any damages caused directly
or indirectly as a result of these messages.
By submitting messages to The Forum you are granting MailSite
a perpetual royalty free non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify,
translate, make available, distribute and sub-license the Message
in whole or in part and in form.
It is not possible for MailSite to fully and effectively monitor
when messages infringe the copyright of a third party or other third
party rights. If you believe that a message infringes any legal
rights that you may have, you should notify MailSite immediately
by contacting webmaster@mailsite.com.
GOOD PRACTICE GUIDELINES
MailSite also requests that Customers posting to The Forum follow
these good practice guidelines:
- Subscribers should avoid including the text of a message from
The Forum when replying to it if the text is not relevant to your
reply.
- When you join The Forum, monitor the messages for a few days
to get a feel for what common questions are asked, and what topics
are deemed off-limits.
- Before posting, check if there is an answer to your question
in the Knowledge Base. Also check
The Forum to see if a similar topic has been posted previously
- Keep in mind that The Forum has members from many countries,
many of whom speak English as a foreign language - keep jargon,
slang and cultural references to a minimum.
- Don't join The Forum just to post inflammatory messages.
- Keep your questions and comments relevant to the focus of The
Forum.
- If you want to respond to an off-topic posting, do so off line
privately and away from The Forum.
- It's preferable to reference the source of a document and provide
instructions on how to obtain a copy.
- Resist the temptation to "flame" others on The Forum.
Remember that these discussions are "public" and meant
for constructive exchanges. Treat the others on The Forum as you
would want them to treat you.
