What is It?

MailSite Calendar Server is a state-of-the-art calendar server for sharing calendars between co-workers, colleagues, family and friends. MailSite Calendar Server has been designed to easily and quickly connect to Microsoft Outlook 2007 without requiring any plug-ins. MailSite Calendar Server is bundled with every version of MailSite Collaborator and can be licensed at additional cost for MailSite SP.

How is it different from Microsoft Exchange 2007?

MailSite Calendar Server provides support for other calendar clients out-of-the-box. MailSite users can easily share their calendars with users of Apple Mac iCal, Google Calendar and Microsoft Windows Vista Calendar. With appropriate permissions, calendars can be shared with users inside and outside of the company.

Advanced Clustering

MailSite Calendar Server can scale from 20 users on a single server to hundreds of thousands of users on a cluster of servers. It utilizes an advanced two-tier clustering technology that is not dependent on Windows server clustering. Front-end application nodes are stateless and data-less and can be added and removed from the cluster without impacting operations.
