Manually installing MailSite Express in IIS

Synopsis:
A virtual directory for MailSite Express is added to IIS during installation. Additional instances of Express can be manually added to IIS.

More Information:
To add a new instance of MailSite Express to IIS:
  1. Copy the MailSite\Express directory to create a second instance of MailSite Express.
  2. From the IIS Console, right-click the web site to which you want to install Express.
  3. Select New > Virtual Directory. When then virtual directory wizard appears, click Next.
  4. Enter "express" as the virtual directory alias, and click Next.
  5. Select the new MailSite Express directory you created in step 1, and click Next.
  6. In the Access Permissions page of the wizard, check both the Read and Run scripts options, and click Next.
  7. The virtual directory named "express" should now appear under the selected web site. Right-click the express virtual directory and select Properties.
  8. Under the Virtual Directory tab, locate the the Application Settings section. If no application name is shown, click Create and enter "Express" in the Application name field.
  9. Under the Directory Security tab, click the Edit button in the Anonymous Access section.
  10. Check the box labeled Anonymous access, and click Edit.
  11. Specify a user from the Administrator group, and check the box labeled Allow IIS to control password.
  12. Click OK to save changes in each dialog.
