MailSite Express install ASP error in IIS 6

Synopsis:

When installing MailSite Express, the installer reports that ASP is not enabled.

More Information:

Windows 2003 default installation configuration does not install IIS 6.0 and the necessary components for MailSite Express to properly operate.

Installing IIS 6

Click on the start button
Select settings then control panel
Select ADD/Remove programs
Click ADD/Remove Windows components
Double click on Application server
Click on Internet Information Services
IIS should install after you click OK, be sure to enable ASP as per the following section

In order to get MailSite Express operational Using ASP, follow the steps below:

Click on the start button
Select settings then control panel
Select ADD/Remove programs
Click ADD/Remove Windows components
Double click on Application server
Next double click on Internet Information Services
Next double click on World Wide Web Service
Select the Active Server Pages option
Install or enable your express installation, it should now work as expected
