Full compatibility with Classic Outlook
To benefit from the full feature experience with Microsoft Classic Outlook, the client connects to a MAPI server over HTTPS. Typically, this server is Microsoft Exchange. The new MAPI server in MailSite 11 brings this experience to your Classic Outlook users.
Email, calendars and contacts in one connection
MAPI provides many additional features beyond IMAP. An IMAP connection synchronizes email and requires a separate SMTP configuration to send messages. With MailSite's MAPI over HTTPS connection, Classic Outlook synchronizes email, calendars and contacts and sends email through the same connection, simplifying setup.
